Prayer is talking to God, He is our Father and we are his children.
Prayer is the breath of the soul; without it you will turn blue – Unknown
Luke 11:1 Lord teach us to pray
Our attitude needs to be teachable.
“Call to me, and I will answer you; I will tell you wonderful and marvelous things that you know nothing about.” GNB
“When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites! They love to stand up and pray in the houses of worship and on the street corners, so that everyone will see them. I assure you, they have already been paid in full.” GNB
Prayer is measured by it’s depth, not it’s length – unknown
Prayer is not meant to be flaunted, it is a private thing, between you and God. Praying aloud in a public place will not prove that you are spiritual.
“Let us have confidence, then, and approach God’s throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it.” GNB
“Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. Mat 7:8 For everyone who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find, and the door will be opened to those who knock. GNB
“But when you pray, you must believe and not doubt at all. Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is driven and blown about by the wind.” GNB
“Until now you have not asked for anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your happiness may be complete.” GNB
Prayer is the place where burdens change shoulders – Unknown
